The proposal

On June 15, 2012 Jonathan proposed to Laurie on the beach in Half Moon Bay. They celebrated their engagement and their upcoming graduations from Stanford with family and friends that weekend, starting with hiking at Burleigh Murray State Park, champagne on the beach, and lunch at the Ritz Carlton followed by a private Half Moon Bay harbor cruise aboard the Irene, dinner on the beach in Montara at La Costanera, Jonathan and Laurie's doctoral hoodings, BBQ with friends, and finally Father's Day dinner in Woodside at The Village Pub.
